In a recent interview with CNBC, Bill Gates talked openly about his views on Elon Musk and the work he is doing through to make the world a better place by helping humanity to transform from fossil fuels to sustainable energy.
In the latest CNBC interview with Bill Gates on his latest book about “How to avoid a climate disaster”, Gates also gave some comments about Elon Musk and all were positive. After interviewer asked Bill if he had a Short position or not, for which Bill replied by saying that he don’t like to share his personal investments. He later added that Underestimating Elon Musk is not a good idea.
Gates said that “We’re basically not doing enough on the hard stuff: steel, cement, meat,” he said. “And sadly, the things people think about the electricity, passenger cars are a third of the problem.” Few days ago in an interview with interview with Kara Swisher on her ‘Sway’ podcast, Bill Gates said that he’s “not a Mars person” and he’d prefer donating the money to help buy vaccines and save people’s lives than going to Mars.
Bill Gates said that “I think what Elon’s done with Tesla is fantastic. It’s, you know, probably the biggest single contribution to showing us that electric cars are part of how we solve climate change,”. He also said that the world needs more entrepreneurs like Elon Musk to take on climate change.
